Mudboots Wedding Jacques & Hannelie

“When there is love in a marriage, there is harmony in the home; when there is harmony in the home, there is contentment in the community; when there is contentment in the community, there is prosperity in the nation; when there is prosperity in the nation, there is peace in the world.”

-Chinese Proverb

What an absolutely wonderful day. There was rain but that is what make Bloemfontein so beautiful this time of year. We have this amazing way of getting rain. There will be just enough time in between showers to get amazing photos.  I was so excited to hear that Hannelie and Jacques went with purple as one of their wedding colors. Purple is one of those colors I just love no matter where, it just seem to work.

They opted for a bit of a nontraditional way of doing things. We took some couple photos before the wedding, this is fast becoming a trend and one I would definitely recommend.  The rainy weather was a bit annoying not really letting us use the garden at Dursley manor as much as I wanted but luckily the Manor also have a very beautiful interior. Even with the time and weather constrained I captured some beautiful moments just proving how important the engagement shoot is. There is just no time to first get comfortable with your photographer at your wedding.

“They say, ‘It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.’ I say, ‘It is better to love and when you get discouraged, love some more, and never lose your love at all.”
